First,never let Cassidy talk again.The guy knows nothing about history(white has always been in charges) nigga please.Next if those rappers and singers, want dark skin sistas,all they have to do is open their mouths.But they like it the way it is.

Cassidy has a point. Sure rappers could get any woman they wanted, but the question is why is it that a lighter skinned woman is more likely to be cast in a beautiful role than a dark skinned woman. And I think it has a lot to do with our cultural development in a white america. I also agree with the professor. For the most part (no matter in how subtle a way) black culture demands white approval. We don’t think that just being black descended from African people is enough…we need more
